BIG Comedy show in Wichita!

One of our station's had comedian Ralphie May in town tonight for a couple comedy shows. I had Madison and Zach this evening, so I went to the late show after I dropped them off. Ralphie is a great guy! His show is not Rated G, for sure. It's very adult, but he was very funny. He has been on "Last Comic Standing," "Celebrity Fit Club," "Comedy Central" and has been on Jay Leno's show numerous times. You can get more on him at www.ralphiemay.com. Remember, it's adult humor. :)

Boy's Day Out! Mission: Spiderman 3

I took Monday off from work. I have been working crazy, wild hours the last month and needed a day off. It was wonderful. I didn't check my e-mails or messages from work. The best thing was that I picked Zach up from school at noon (when he gets out of Pre-K) and took him to a movie. He's a big Spiderman fan, and so am I. We went to "Spiderman 3." It was great! It was an awesome time, just the little man and me hanging out and joking. It's one of those days that I hope he remembers and tells me about on my death bed when I am older.

Tornado Wipes Out Kansas Town I Know Well

This is a picture of the tornado that hit the town of Greensburg, KS on Friday night. It was about a mile wide and destroyed the entire town. I know this town very well. We used to stop there and go down the "Big Well" when I was younger and I recently was the DJ at a couple Dances/Proms at the High School. Our radio station's have already started fundraising drives for the survivors. I hate to see something like this happen. Greensburg has always been a neat little town.

Hanging with The Auctioneer

We had the "Classic Country Listener Appreciation Show" on two of our stations on Thursday night. The featured act was Leroy Van Dyke. He was a great guy. I escorted him around all day. He is best known for his HUGE hits "The Auctioneer" and "Just Walk On By." He is from Sedalia, Missouri and has been doing shows in Branson a lot lately. I suggest you see him if you get the chance. He was very good and funny. This picture was taken from a camera phone, so it's not super clear.

It's Almost Official. This was in the Thursday's Wichita Eagle

Future NHL Star!

Gotta love camera phones. This is Zach at the Wichita Ice Center on Tuesday night. He is wanting to start taking skating lessons and wants to play hockey. Madison is wanting to take lessons, too. Kristi has Austin and Tiana in learn to skate programs and now Maddie and Zachster want in on the action. We'll see what happens. Isn't he cute?
