Cubs Lose Again. Down In Series 2-0.

The Chicago Cubs lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-4 in Game 2 of a National League Division Series playoff Thursday night at Chase Field in Phoenix. The Diamondbacks lead the series 2-0.
The Cubs are back home for Game 3 on Saturday at Wrigley. They now have to win 3 in a row now to make it on to the National League Championship Series. This is when you gotta believe. I was excited for awhile. They were up 2-0 in Game 2, and then the D-Backs starting the pounding. It was a long night.

Cubs Lose Game 1 of Playoffs.

The Cubs just got beat 3-1 in Game #1 of the National League Playoffs. Arizona is up 1-0 in the series. This is the best 3 out of 5. The Cubs play again on Thursday night.
Enough of the story of the game. I am in a crappy mood and I am now going to bed. It's been 99 years since they won the World Series. This curse must end!!! Good night.

It Hockey Time! Let's Go Av's!

It's Hockey Time! The Colorado Avalanche are kicking off the 2007 season against the Dallas Stars. The team I love to hate! This should be a fun one. Above is a shot from when they met in pre-season. The real season starts tonight. I have a night of TV watching planned. The Cubs play tonight and so do the Av's. It will be a nice evening. It would be very nice with a couple wins from my teams tonight.

Rockies take opener over Phillies!

Jeff Francis shined in his playoff debut, giving up just two solo homers as the Rockies took Game 1 in Philadelphia. The left-hander fanned eight batters in six innings, while veteran Todd Helton got Colorado started with a triple in his first postseason at-bat. MVP candidate Matt Holliday contributed a homer.

I was excited to see that they took this game. That's 15 wins in 16 games. They are on fire! Now if the Cubs can win tonight!

Hangin' With Puddles The Clown!!!

I took Madison and Zach out tonight. I asked where they wanted to go and they said Ryan's. So, we went to Ryan's. Madison has been asking for the longest time to go there. She had always talked about going there and seeing "Puddles The Clown." Well, he was there tonight. Here's Madison and Zach posing in their balloon hats that Puddles made for them. Notice someone missing teeth?

Way to go Rockies! They're in the playoffs, too!

It was a late night on Monday. I stayed up to watch the Rockies and Padres game. It took them 13 innings, but they did it! They are in the NL playoffs. They take on the Phillies. It would be awesome to see the Cubs and Rockies in the National League Championship Series. I hate to say this, but it would be the first time that I haven't cheered for a Colorado team. I would cheer for the Cubbies. It reminds me of the time that dad and I went to a Rockies and Cubs game in Colorado. He was cheering and wearing Rockies gear and I was doing the same, but for the Cubs. I am very excited for the Rockies, but I am pulling for the Cubs.

Dorky Moment For You To Enjoy!

I was at Wendy's in Park City with Pete and Linda Tilley and Kristi. We went to the Gary Allan and Cross Canadian Ragweed concert on Sunday night. We stopped for a bite to eat after the show. I had Kris take a picture of me with the "Wendy's Wig!" I am a dork! That's life!
