Alex Gordon and Mark Teahen each homered and Zack Greinke pitched seven solid innings, as the Royals beat the Tigers, 4-1, on Thursday afternoon.This is only the second time the Royals have opened the season with a three-game sweep on the road. The first time? Also in Detroit, in 1977 at Tiger Stadium. That Royals club, by the way, went on to win 102 games and the division title.
