We ran into a mess Sunday

Here's a picture that I took Sunday afternoon in the town of Picher, OK. It was hit by a tornado that killed 6 people a couple of weeks ago. You can see that the trees are just peeled and that there is a mess everywhere. That's not a mountain or hill behind the damage. That is a chat pile. You need to stay away from those. Why?
